Field horsetail is also known as horsetail and belongs to the fern family. Its strengthening effect on the hair, nails and connective tissue of the skin is based on the high content of minerals and silicic acid (up to 10 %). Other ingredients from the group of flavonoids, alkaloids and caffeic acid derivatives additionally ensure that the extract has a circulation-promoting and anti-inflammatory effect.
