The magnesium salt of vegetable stearic acid is a beige powder. It is often found in foods under the name "magnesium salt of fatty acids". It is insoluble in water, absorbs moisture, and is characterized by good adhesion to the skin. Therefore, magnesium stearate is suitable for use in decorative cosmetics (eye shadow, make-up), body cleansing (bath chocolates, bath bombs), and body care (body powder, body butter).
